2013 Registration Now Open!
Play: Qualifying rounds on Monday, June 17th and Tuesday, June 18th to determine placement in flights. Low 32 in Championship, next 32 in President’s, other flights 16 each, all according to total of qualifying scores. First round matches in Championship and President’s flights on Wednesday morning, June 19th . Other flights begin match play Thursday morning June 20th. Match play continues in all flights Friday and Saturday with finals on Sunday, June 23rd.
Field: Limited to either 192, 208, or 224 entries plus alternates on a first-received, first-paid basis. Pairings and starting times for qualifying rounds will be published in the Herald-Sun newspaper, posted on the Herald-Sun web page, and posted at the Hillandale golf shop prior to the tournament.
Entry Fee & Signup: Entry fee of $135.00 must accompany entry form. Sign up starts on July 10, 2012 and can be made by either of the following:
1 –Click on “Registration” in the navigation menu above. Payment of fee can be made online with credit card using MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover card or Paypal; or
2 – Complete one of the forms available here, or at Hillandale Golf Course; completed forms and payment should be delivered to Hillandale.
Entry Deadline: All applications must be received with entry fee by 5:00 P.M. Monday, June 10th.
Cart Policy: Competitors have the option of either walking or riding in this event. Regarding those choosing to ride, please keep in mind that golf carts will be given to each group based on the number of seats required. For example, if there are only two players riding, only one cart will be issued. If there is only one player riding, or if the group has three players riding, thus leaving a seat available, a spectator may fill that seat for a $20.00 fee. However, please keep in mind that the rules of competition must be followed regarding advice and caddy stipulations. These are in place to ensure a fair and equitable competition for all competitors.
Course Rules: Beverage coolers are not allowed on the golf course, but thermos (or similar) jugs or bottles may be used. The Hillandale and Tournament dress code for participants prohibits attire such as blue jeans of any kind, T-shirts, tank tops, cut-off shorts, tennis shorts, etc. on the golf course. Golf shoes with non-metallic spikes are encouraged.
Preferred Times And Pairings: (qualifying rounds only).This year you will be able to choose your tee time preference (AM/PM), and times will be assigned on a first come basis.
